What is the Best-Anti Virus Mask?

  • 1247 views

It’s those airborne viruses in the air that we all need to protect ourselves with most especially if they are deadly and life-threatening.

The ideal defense against these diseases, viruses and the coronavirus should provide the highest level and protection.

The N95 respirator mask provides the best and maximum protection against airborne viruses.

The N95 mask provides superior protection with a better seal and more breathability than any other respirator. It can also offer a premium breathing experience without compromising your comfort or style. It should be properly fitted to be very effective though.

The flu viruses spread primarily via virus-carrier large droplets from coughs and sneezes, and they generally travel in the air only about 3 feet. A totally sealed N95 mask will be highly effective as an anti-virus mask.

The N95 mask is designed to be a particulate filtering facepiece respirator. This mask can filter at least 95% of airborne particles but is not resistant to oil.

You should only purchase and use an N95 mask that is certified by NIOSH. There should be a NIOSH logo and the test and certification which is the TC approval number on the mask or packaging. An  N95 mask that is not certified by NIOSH may not provide adequate protection to you

Use an N95 mask even if you cannot see the particles because they may be too small to see and feel more confident about your safety.

How to Make Sure your N95 Mask Fits

Do a user seal check, including both positive and negative pressure checks to make sure that you have correctly and properly put on your N95 mask and have it adjusted to fit you with the tight seal.

Negative pressure check

Place both hands completely over the mask and inhale strongly. Be careful not to disturb the position of the mask. The mask should pull into your face. If any air leaks around your face or eyes, adjust the nosepiece and straps and repeat the positive pressure check.

Positive pressure check

Put your hands over the mask and breathe out strongly. If your mask has an exhalation valve just be sure to cover the exhalation valve when you exhale. No air should leak out of the mask if it fits properly. If any air leaks out, readjust the nosepiece and straps and repeat the negative pressure check.

It’s our natural instinct to find the best solution to fight our fear against the contagion of any virus especially one as harmful and dangerous as the coronavirus.

The N95 mask is the best anti-virus mask that we can avail for ourselves now to help us deal with any outbreak amid our environment.
